From romantic hideaways and amenity rich resorts to budget-friendly guestrooms and family focused cabins, here are seven uniquely Jasper properties to consider when booking your next Canadian Rockies vacation.

Best for Skiers: Marmot Lodge

Located on the edge of downtown Jasper, the Marmot Lodge is perfect for skiers and snowboarders in search of world-class powder at Marmot Basin. The property's motel-style design — with exterior exits on all rooms — and on-site ski and board waxing facilities makes heading out early easy.

With an indoor heated pool and sauna, along with an outdoor hot tub, après-ski is equally appealing at the Marmot. Accommodations range from cozy rooms for two to spacious kitchen suites suitable for up to six guests. While the Marmot doesn't have an on-site restaurant, it’s just a three-minute walk from the Forest Park Hotel, home to the Hearthstone Lounge. It's also just a stone's throw from several other local favourites for dine in or takeout.

Best for Après-Play: The Crimson

Vibrant and modern, The Crimson hotel is an ideal home base for couples and groups who want to be in the heart of downtown Jasper's shops, restaurants and recreation. The contemporary mountain lodge features an array of guestrooms and suites, including some with full kitchens. Additional amenities at the property include an indoor heated pool, hot tub and fitness centre.

The charming full-service resort features two restaurants. In the morning, Walter's Dining Room serves up creative, hearty breakfast classics. For dinner and evening cocktails, The Hearthstone Lounge offers elevated mountain-inspired fare deliciously rooted in Indigenous flavours.

An on-property spa enhances Forest Park Hotel's amenity offerings, making relaxation and rejuvenation an effortless experience for bridal parties and event planners.

Best for Foodies & Outdoor Adventurers: Pyramid Lake Lodge

Overlooking its iconic namesake, Pyramid Lake Lodge is a beautiful chalet-style oasis located mere moments from Patricia Lake and downtown Jasper. The luxury waterfront haven features mountain-chic guestrooms with gas fireplaces, along with spacious kitchenette suites suitable for families.

Nature lovers are drawn to the resort's tranquil, picturesque setting and multitude of on-and-off-the-water activities, including canoe and kayak rentals, ice skating and fat biking.

At Aalto, located on-site, you’ll find a menu deeply inspired by the sparkling lake. Regional ingredients and seafood come together as “lake-food” — mountain-fresh dishes that capture the beauty of the restaurant’s shoreside surroundings.

Best for Couples: Chateau Jasper

Discover a quiet, romantic escape at Chateau Jasper. Guestrooms and suites at the recently reimagined hotel are spacious and elegantly furnished with contemporary mountain decor. The Chateau's signature breakfast restaurant, Silverwater Grill & Lounge, offers a perfect start to the day, while the heated indoor pool and hot tub are a warm welcome after a day of exploration.
