Due to devastating wildfires, the town of Jasper is currently closed. We do not yet know the extent of damage to Pursuit properties in Jasper. We are monitoring the situation remotely and will provide more information as it becomes available. If you have a booking through August 8 at any of our Jasper hotels, Maligne Lake Cruise, Columbia Icefield and the Jasper segments of Brewster Sightseeing and Brewster Express, it will be automatically cancelled, and your credit card will be refunded. Refunds should take up to 5-10 business days. No further action on your cancelled booking is required. If you need to contact us, please note we are experiencing very high call volume resulting in long wait times.
Right now, we are focused on taking care of our team, their families, neighbours and friends. We are working closely with the Municipality of Jasper, Parks Canada and our tourism partners to support the community and the future rebuilding of Jasper as an iconic National Park destination.
This is a constantly evolving situation, and we will update you as we learn more, for more information visit the Pursuit Jasper Wildfire information page. For the latest wildfire information in Jasper National Park, visit Jasper National Park’s Facebook page at facebook.com/JasperNP.
